BRUMA means mist in Portuguese. Like mist, this organic cotton voile softens everything it covers. Denser than a fine sheer (78 g/m²), it lets the light in while keeping you out of view.

During the day, light passes generously through the fabric and spreads a soft, natural glow. From inside, you can make out the shapes and colours outside, but the view is blurred. From outside, the room stays out of view during the day; in the evening, with the lights on, silhouettes may be visible.

Ideal if you want both light and privacy. Less suited if you want to keep a clear view outside: a finer sheer will suit you better.

Its matte, naturally crinkled look, typical of washed cotton, suits minimalist or Mediterranean-inspired interiors. The tone-on-tone bourdon edge outlines the curtain and highlights the artisanal finish.

The 9 cm rod pockets slide directly onto the rod for a soft, relaxed look. BRUMA can be used on its own or in front of a blackout curtain.

Care: machine wash at 30 °C, gentle drying. Natural fibres may shrink slightly at the first wash: wash your curtains before altering the hem. The crinkled look is part of their charm; for a neater drape, a little steam is all it takes.
